Lois L. DeJaynes, 73, of Louisiana, MO, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at her residence.  She was born on July 19, 1944 to Joseph and Martha Mott Reed in Wilmington, IL.  

In earlier years, Lois worked at a candy factory in Bloomington, IL and enjoyed working at a nursing home in Monticello, IL.  She also did housekeeping at Green Acres in Pittsfield, IL for a time and community care services in people's homes.  Lois loved to get out and go.  She enjoyed fishing, sightseeing, and watching deer.  She liked to read and do crossword puzzles.  Her favorite shows were Cops and NCIS and she loved spending time with her family and friends.  Lois was also attended Texas Christian Church in Clinton, IL.

She is survived by her sons, Phillip Keeling of Baylis, IL, Troy (Sandy) Keeling of Lousiana, MO, and Randy (Maryanna) DeJaynes of New Canton, IL; daughters, Corinna (Terry) Anglin of Louisiana, MO and Martha Embree of Pittsfield, IL; eighteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren with one on the way; brothers, Bob Reed of Clinton, IL, Ted (Dorothy) Reed of Clinton, IL, Donald (Jeanne) Reed of North Carolina, Edward Reed of IL, and Chuck (Bert) Reed of California; and sisters, Elizabeth Cox of Lincoln, IL and Linda Reed Short of Clinton, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Danny Joe Keeling; a daughter, Melinda Beth Keeling; a granddaughter, Lisa Marie Keeling; grandson, Steven Allen Keeling; a brother, Jim Reed; sister-in-law, Linda Carol Reed; and two nephews, David Wayne Reel and Melvin Maxey.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield.  There will be a visitation prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday.  Interment will be at Clinton Woodlawn Cemetery in Clinton, IL at 3:00 PM on Friday, February 9, 2018.  Memorials are suggested to the family.  Online condolences may be left to the family at www.nieburfh.com.  Niebur Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
