Viola G. Reinebach, 87, of Nebo passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy surrounded by her loving family and friends.  Viola was born on December 10, 1929 in Pleasant Hill, a daughter of Earl and Mildred Schlieper Goewey.   She married Glenn Richards and to this union four children were born.  She later married Roger Reinebach; he preceded her in death.

Viola and Roger owned and operated a dairy farm business in the Payson area for many years. Viola had worked at the Pleasant Hill garment factory and Louisiana Plastics in earlier years.  She enjoyed her coffee group and playing cards with her good friends, quilting, and sewing.  She loved gardening and tending to her flower garden and going to yard sales.  In her earlier years she won several awards and trophies for horseshoe competitions.  Viola had attended the Nazarene Church in Nebo.

Surviving are Viola's four children: Bruce Richards of Nebo; Carol (Chuck) Hoelscher of Washington, IL; Jan (Dean) Spann of Nebo; and Debbie (Randy) Herron of Nebo; in addition to numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  One sister, Joyce Howland of Nebo; and two sisters-in-law Wanda Goewey of Nebo and Judy Goewey of Summer Hill also survive.  Viola was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Earl Maxie Goewey Jr., Raymond "Mac" Goewey, Bob and Dale Goewey; two sisters, Leota Stone and Joann Thompson; two grandchildren, Travis Herron and Shawnda Spann.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, August 07, 2017 at the Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield with Pastor Darin Workman and Jeanie Johns officiating.  Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.  Interment will be in the Nebo Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to be made to donor's choice.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.nieburfh.com.  The Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield has been entrusted with the service.
