Mary Beth Moore, 82 of Pearl, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at her residence.  Mary Beth was born on January 28, 1935 in Pike County, a daughter of the late George Earl and Beatrice Pearl Dillion Reel.  She married Lynn Moore on June 6, 1954; he preceded her in death on February 20, 2007.

After high school Mary Beth attended and graduated from Western Illinois University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Education and was a teacher in various schools. She attended the Pearl Church of Christ and was a member of the Pike County Home Extension.

She was a very good seamstress and loved to sew.  She enjoyed quilting and crocheting, sharing her talent with others by teaching quilting and crocheting classes.  Mary Beth also loved doing arts and crafts.  She enjoyed using her grabber tool and her walker with wheels which she could maneuver very fast.  She was a very sweet lady and dearly loved her family.

Surviving are her children:  Jill Ann Moore of Vicksburg, MS; Jedd Stacy (Darlene) Moore of Pearl; Joey Earl Moore of Pearl and Justin Lynn Moore of Lincoln, IL. Additional survivors are six grandchildren:  Ryan Albert Moore, Holly Elise (Harrison) Williams, Asa Daniel Moore, Aaron James Moore, Jessica Lynn Moore, and Jennifer Leann (Kris) Permana; and eight great grandchildren, Madison Moore, Mia Williams, Ayden Williams, Dominic Williams, Kylan Moore, Payton Moore, Cohen Moore and Kadek Caiden Permana.

Mary Beth was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Jeffery Moore.

There will be no funeral service or visitation.

I was so sorry to hear of Beth's passing. She was a very nice lady, always willing to help others. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
