Milburn McClintock

PITTSFIELD, IL

 

MILBURN L McCLINTOCK, 92 of Pittsfield, IL passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at his residence in Pittsfield. He was born near Pittsfield on December 23, 1917 to Arthur and Grace (James) McClintock. He married Mary (Conkright) in Harrison, Arkansas March 5, 1951, and she survives. Mr. McClintock was a salesman for Lewis Ford Motor Co. and later Baughman Ford Tractor Sales in Pittsfield, Illinois. He was in the Navy and served in WWII from 1941-1944.  He was a member of the Pittsfield American Legion Post #152, Pittsfield Moose Lodge #420. He enjoyed Card playing, deer hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 

Survivors: His wife Mary McClintock. Children: Vicki (Tracy) Butler, Ruth (Martin) Luttrell and Gene Martin all of Pittsfield. Seven Grandchildren: Brian Butler of Chicago, IL, Brad (Crystal) McClintock of Pittsfield, IL, Jami (Patrick) Miller of Rochester, IL, Jeana (Darren) Kindle of Pittsfield, IL, Shane (Sara) Martin of Pittsfield, IL, Gary Graham of Memphis, TN, and Larry Joe Graham of Pittsfield, IL. Ten Great Grandchildren and Two Great- Great Grandchildren.

 

Mr. McClintock is Preceded in Death by: A son Randy Mark McClintock Three brothers, George “Merle” McClintock, Steven Arthur “Junior” McClintock, Delbert Leon McClintock (in infancy). Six sisters, Vivian Kendall Fish, Mildred (Wayne) Willard, Elouise “Toots” (Ronald) Sidwell, Thelma (Dwight) Brokaw, Virginia “Dale” (Alfred) Claus, and Barbara (Wayne) Zumwalt.

 

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 2, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield with Brother Don Hannel officiating. Burial will be at the West Cemetery in Pittsfield, IL. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2010 from 5-8 P.M. at the Neibur Funeral Home in Pittsfield, IL.

 

Memorials are suggested to The Blessing Hospice of Pike County, Illini Community Hospital, or West Cemetery in Pittsfield, IL.
