MRS. IRENE  WILLIS, 91 of  Pittsfield, IL., died Sunday morning (2/7/10) at Liberty Village in Pittsfield.  Irene was born on June 15, 1918 and married Rayburn Willis on October 10, 1969 and he preceded her in death on July 1, 1985.  She worked as a nurse’s aide at Illini Community Hospital for several years and attended the Pittsfield United Methodist Church and was a member of the United Methodist Church Women.

A stepson Robert Willis of Mt. Sterling, IL, one brother Earl Daniels of Nebo, IL, 5 step grandchildren, survives her.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Niebur Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Wilber officiating. Burial will be at West Cemetery in Pittsfield.

Friends may call at the Niebur Funeral Home on Thursday from 1 p.m. till time of services at 2 p.m.

Memorials are to Blessing Hospice of Pike County or Liberty Village Altzheimers Unit.
