Edna L. Huntley, 86, of Pittsfield passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Illini Community Hospital in Pittsfield.  She was born December 5, 1923 a daughter to John A. and Irene Doyle Conkright. She married Junior Kinne in 1938 and later married Norman Huntley August 31, 1973 and he preceded her in death December 17, 2003.

Edna was a supervisor at Brown Shoe Factory for several years.  She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing, needlework, embroidery, crewel  stitchery, cooking and reading.

Surviving are two daughters, LuAnn (Vernon) Sevier of Pittsfield and Darla (Gary) Norton of Quincy along with three grandchildren, Shane Sevier of Pittsfield; DeAnna Norton of Evans, GA; and Scott Huntley of Memphis, TN.  Four great grandchildren, one stepson, David (Patricia) Huntley of Seymour, TX and one sister, Mary (Mac) McClintock of Pittsfield, eight nieces and two nephews also survive.

Edna was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Conkright, nephew Randy McClintock and niece, Joy Grable.

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, January 9 at the Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield with Rev. Bill Herald officiating.  Interment will be in the Pittsfield West Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Friday evening, January 8 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield.

Family suggests that memorials be made to the Calvary Baptist Church or the Pittsfield West Cemetery.
