Frank R. “Bob” Moyer, age 86, of Barry died at 2:28 AM on December 14, 2009 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. Bob was born January 14, 1923, in Derry Twsp, IL,  a son of Floyd E. & Annabelle Dolbeare Moyer.  He married Mary L. Sparrow on January 25, 1947 and she survives.  

Bob farmed for many years and worked at Gardner-Denver Company in Quincy for about 30 years before retiring in 1985. He was a member of the El Dara Lodge #388  A.F. & A. M. for 62 years.  

Survivors include his wife Mary of Barry, a son; Richard K. (Teddy) Moyer of Plainville, IL, and a daughter; Julie A. Moyer of Barry.  He was preceded in death by a sister, three brothers and a daughter, Barbara Sue Moyer.  

Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 18, 2009 at the Niebur Funeral Chapel in Barry with Dr. Greg Maize officiating. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service from 12:00 – 2:00 PM. Burial will be at Park Lawn Cemetery following the service. Masonic services will be conducted at 1:45 PM prior to the service by the  El Dara  Lodge #388  A.F. & A.M. Memorials are suggested to the donor’s choice.  Niebur Funeral Chapel in Barry  is handling the arrangements.
