MRS. BARBARA  J.  COLEMAN, 56 of Pittsfield,Il., died Saturday (11/21/09) at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield,Il.

She was born Feb. 9,1953 in Pittsfield,Il., a daughter of Alvin and Leveda McDonald Gratton. She married William Coleman Feb. 1974 in Pittsfield  by the Rev. Frank Claybourne.

Barbara was a member of the United Brethren Baptist Church in Baylis,Il. She enjoyed collecting angels and being with her grandchildren.

Survivors are her husband Bill Coleman, 4 sons,Terry Bricking and William Edward Coleman Jr. both of Pittsfield, Leroy Houston Coleman of Glascow,Il., and Scott Bricking of Dixon,Il., one daughter Mrs. Melissa Sue (Husband Bruce) Hull of Crump,Tenn. And five(5) grandchildren.

Preceeded by a brother James McDonald.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jim Jacques officiating at the Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield.

Friends may call at Nieburs on Tuesday from noon till time of services at 2 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to her family.

Burial will be at Gray Cemetery near New Salem,Il.
